Abreu Advogados stands out in WTR 1000

Abreu Advogados’ Intellectual Property and Information Technology practice area was distinguished by the World Trademark Review 1000. The directory awarded “Gold Tier” to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice area, with special focus on the work carried out in Enforcement and Litigation, and “Silver Tier” in the area of Prosecution and Strategy. On an individual level, five lawyers were distinguished with a “Silver Band”, evidencing the recognition of national and international clients in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, technology and fashion.

With these distinctions, Abreu Advogados was at the top of the list of the best Portuguese law firms in this practice. In this year’s edition, partners Manuel Durães Rocha, António Andrade, Ricardo Henriques and César Bessa Monteiro, jr., and Senior Associate Ana Panão were distinguished, in recognition of the quality and excellence of their work.

In its twelfth edition, the WTR 1000 team highlights the work and growth strategy pursued by Abreu Advogados in this practice area, which has been strengthened over time and is today one of the largest and most complete teams in the Portuguese market.

The World Trademark Review 1000 research project already counts 12 editions and is focused on identifying the leading law firms and solo practitioners throughout the world, comprising more than 80 countries and US states.
