Catarina Miguéis Picado

Catarina Miguéis Picado is a trainee lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2023. During her traineeship, she has been working in different areas of law, with a special focus on Public and Environmental Law.

She is particularly involved in drafting legal opinions on specific issues in the field of public law and the environment, as well as monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings and helping to prepare documents, petitions, and appeals.

She has experience in administrative litigation, public procurement, licensing, regulatory, expropriation, and environmental impact assessment.

Particularly noteworthy is the monitoring of urban licensing processes, tourist developments and expropriations, and licensing in the public domain, namely in the water domain and maritime space.
