Francisca Salgado da Costa is an associate lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2023, working mainly in the Private Clients & Family Businesses sector.

She has been advising family offices and individual clients on inheritance and family law (in the areas of planning, negotiation, organisation and generational transfer of assets and litigation), wealth planning, private international law, nationality issues and matters related to the Scheme of the Adult Accompanied.

She is frequently invited to participate as a speaker at conferences on the areas in which she practices, namely at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, the Advanced Training Course on “The Principle of Participation and Hearing of the Child in the Portuguese Judicial System” and at the II Seminar of the Loures Municipal Network for Intervention in Domestic Violence on the theme of “Children who are victims of domestic violence in the judicial context”.

  • Advising on family and children's law matters, such as the regulation of parental responsibilities, divorce, judicial and extrajudicial division of assets by divorce or de facto separation.
