Maria José Almeida Ricardo is a Legal Executive and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2011 and up until 2015 coordinated the Registry and Notary Department in Lisbon.

Her activity in Registration and Notary services encompasses the whole Firm, including in her capacity as a Certifying Entity of Certified Private Documents within Real Estate Law. Additionally, she is a part of some of the Firm’s teams participating in operations related to business structuring and corporate restructuring in the areas of corporate law and Notary and Registration.

She focuses particularly on matters related to the approval of annual reports, appointment of governing bodies, amendments of Articles of Incorporation, including amendments to registered offices, object, capital increases, incorporation, transformation, company mergers and closure, issuing of representative shares of Limited Company’s registered capital and their corresponding book entry, as well as corporate operations which include division, assignment and union of “quotas”, for example.

Maria José Almeida Ricardo is member of the General Council of the National Board of the Order of Solicitors and Execution Agents.
